What It Is

A technique that uses solid, filiform needles (acupuncture needles) to target Trigger Points (TPs). TP’s are defined as taut bands in muscles that are hyperirritable, tender “knots”.

Acupuncture.

  • Increase local blood flow
  • Decrease pain (local or referred)
  • Decrease muscle tension

What is the Cost?

This is a cash service of $40.00-$55.00 per visit for established patients with Gillis Chiropractic Clinic.  A $15.00 consult fee for any new patient that is not in active treatment at our practice.  This service is by appointment only.
